Bryanna A. Carpenter, MD, MBA, MPH

I am an emergency medicine physician who cares for patients of all ages with a wide range of emergency medical conditions, from minor injuries and illnesses to life-threatening emergencies. I understand that a visit to the emergency department can be unexpected and stressful, so I strive to help every patient and family feel heard, informed and respected. My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care while clearly explaining diagnoses, treatment options and next steps so patients feel confident in their care. I chose emergency medicine because I enjoy caring for people during some of the most critical moments of their lives. Every day brings new challenges and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference for patients from all backgrounds. I am especially passionate about improving emergency care through efficient operations, patient safety and health equity to ensure every patient receives high-quality, timely care. Outside of work, I enjoy singing, traveling and spending time with family and friends. I believe building genuine human connections, both inside and outside the hospital, helps me be a better physician and advocate for my patients.
