About Me
Occupational therapy attracted me with its individualized approach and its ability to help people participate in daily activities that hold personal meaning. Lenox Baker is the location where I have treated children with a wide range of ages and needs since 2012. I am a team member on our interdisciplinary cerebral palsy and neuromuscular disorder clinics and specialize in these areas, including supporting families in obtaining medically necessary equipment. Assistive technology has been my concentration for over 10 years. I work to evaluate, provide recommendations and train children and caregivers on various technologies to support children in their daily lives. These technologies include switches, adapted toys and activities, devices/software for computer, iPad or smart phone access, eye gaze trackers, AAC integration, mounting and adapted video gaming. For me, there is nothing more powerful than watching a child do something for the first time with the assistance of technology and a proud caregiver by their side. Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, two children, and our little dachshund.
