Services
Our priority is to treat you with the most appropriate, least invasive treatments available for your image-guided care. Interventional radiology is an alternative to open surgery. Interventional radiology procedures may reduce risk, pain and recovery time for patients.
Treatments
- Vascular work: Placement of venous access including Port, PICC, Hickman, etc. Minimally invasive techniques to place stents, stop bleeding and block the flow of blood. Treatments include:
- Pulmonary embolism
- Acute/chronic deep vein thrombosis
- Hemodialysis access
- Varicocele
- Tumor ablation procedures: Radiofrequency ablations of major organs; includes liver-directed therapies with Yttrium-90 radioembolization.
- Biopsy: Removal of sample of cells to discover the presence, cause, or extent of disease
- Bone and joint pain management: Kyphoplasty
- Drainage catheters: Paracentesis, thoracentesis, and long-term access
- Feeding tubes: Gastrostomy and jejunostomy tube placements
