Our experienced team of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and occupational health specialists provide services that support employee wellness and regulatory compliance. We specialize in work-related injuries and illnesses, pre-employment and fitness-for-duty evaluations, timely assessments, return-to-work guidance and much more. Our evidence-based approach ensures that employees receive the highest standard of care while helping employers meet federal and state occupational health requirements. Onsite services can be arranged.

Injury, Illness & Pain Management

  • Work-related injury and illness evaluations
  • Case management for occupational injuries and illnesses
  • Occupational dermatology and skin exposure management
  • Same-day return-to-work evaluations
  • Neurocognitive testing
  • Infectious disease response and outbreak support
  • Occupational pain management services, including:
    • Comprehensive evaluation of work-related pain
    • Joint and soft tissue injections (e.g., shoulder, knee, sacroiliac, trigger points)
    • Chemical denervation procedures (e.g., botulinum toxin for migraines, spasticity, dystonia, overuse syndromes)
    • Functional restoration and ergonomic modification planning
    • Coordination of imaging and specialty referrals

Substance Use & Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)

  • Confidential assessment and management of substance use in safety-sensitive roles
  • Buprenorphine (Suboxone) and naltrexone for opioid use disorder
  • Naltrexone treatment for alcohol use disorder
  • Integrated occupational medical evaluations and return-to-work planning
  • Monitoring and compliance support for regulated industries (e.g., DOT return-to-duty)

Accepted Insurance

Duke Health contracts with most major health insurance carriers and transplant networks, including the ones listed below. Providers at this clinic also accept workers' compensation insurance. Before scheduling your appointment, we strongly recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the Duke Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any co-payments, co–insurances, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with Duke, your out of pocket liability may be higher.
