About Me
I am a board-certified neurologist with fellowship training in epilepsy, and I provide comprehensive general neurology care with a special focus on headache medicine and seizure disorders. In my general neurology practice, I diagnose and treat a wide range of common neurological conditions including migraines, tension headaches, cluster headaches, neuropathy, Parkinsons, multiple sclerosis and dementia.
I also specialize in the evaluation and management of epilepsy, including new-onset seizures, breakthrough seizures, PNES vs epilepsy, and complex or treatment-resistant epilepsy. I can see patients quickly after first lifetime seizures or after an ER visit for seizures. When needed, I can quickly coordinate and interpret EEG studies and guide patients through higher-level diagnostic evaluation such as prolonged EEG monitoring to clarify diagnosis and optimize treatment.
I offer in person appointments and thorough new patient telehealth appointments to anyone in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. I strive to create individualized, evidence-based plans that support symptom control, safety, and quality of life.

Ratings and Reviews
The ratings and reviews are based on patient responses to the overall provider rating question from the survey. The question reads: “Using any number from 0 to 10, where 0 is the worst provider possible and 10 is the best provider possible, what number would you use to rate this provider?” Responses are converted to a 5-point rating system and applied consistently to all providers.
