About Me
I am passionate about helping my patients improve their quality of life and achieve better health and well-being. I believe that prevention and early intervention are essential to maintaining health and addressing problems before they progress into more serious disease.
As a rheumatologist, I take a comprehensive and holistic approach to patient care, incorporating evidence-based integrative medicine approaches when appropriate alongside conventional rheumatologic treatments. My goal is to understand each patient as a whole person and work together to develop an individualized approach to their health.
Being part of my patients’ journey toward better health, wellness, and a fulfilling life is what inspired me to pursue medicine.
I have experience caring for patients in a variety of healthcare settings, including heart transplantation and urgent care. I am originally from Istanbul, Turkey, and I am also fluent in Russian.

Ratings and Reviews
The ratings and reviews are based on patient responses to the overall clinician rating question from the survey. The question reads: “Using any number from 0 to 10, where 0 is the worst clinician possible and 10 is the best clinician possible, what number would you use to rate this clinician?” Responses are converted to a 5-point rating system and applied consistently to all clinicians. Learn more about our survey process. Patients who see some types of clinicians receive a different version of the patient satisfaction survey. Those results are not available on DukeHealth.org.
