About Me
What I enjoy most about the practice of family medicine is the fact that I am able to provide care for, and develop long-term connections with patients of all ages and of all backgrounds. As I build these relationships with my patients over time, I gain a deeper understanding of each patient as a whole, taking into consideration the physical, emotional and socioeconomic factors that influence one's health. I do emphasize education in my patient interactions so that my patients can feel empowered to be proactive and do their very best to prevent illness or to successfully manage their chronic health issues outside of our appointments. My focus is on preventative medicine, chronic disease management, and acute care. I am from Tarboro, North Carolina. I enjoy traveling, cooking, and spending time with loved ones (including my two dogs).
