About Me
Since 2005, I have served the pediatric population and their families at Duke Health in both acute and primary care. It amazes me how well children can adjust and cope with the world around them. I love watching my patients grow into young adults all while helping them and their families navigate the different stages, challenges, and milestones of childhood. I am here to listen to and address any concerns and look forward to hearing about their children's accomplishments. It truly takes a village to raise a child and I am honored to be part of that village for both my patients and their families. I have been Certified Passenger Safety Technician for the past 12 years. I am able to address car seat questions and concerns and well as help install car seats and instruct families how to safely harness their child into their seat. When not at work, I prefer to play outside. I enjoy swimming, biking, kayaking and skiing with my husband and 3 teenage/school-age children. We love to hike to mountain tops in both state and national parks and are all active in Scouting. In my downtime, I love to read.
