About Me
Pursuing a career in medicine has always been a part of my effort to learn how to alleviate the suffering of others. As I grow into my practice as a physician, I hope to care for and learn from my patients to the best of my ability and, in doing so, contribute in meaningful ways to a community that I love dearly. I am a Durham native and have lived here for the majority of my life. From the richness of its history to its present-day charm and diversity, Durham has given me a lot growing up and it’s the place my family has always called home. I come from a large, multicultural family, African-American on one side and Persian on the other, and as is customary in such households, there is no shortage of good food and fun with family and friends.

Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score. Patients who see some types of providers receive a different version of the patient satisfaction survey.
