WHERE I PROVIDE CARE
Profile
ABOUT ME

I am a board-certified sports physical therapist. My background in dance and cheerleading was a major factor in my decision to become a physical therapist. As an active member and leader of the Performing Arts Special Interest Group of the American Physical Therapy Association, dance medicine is my clinical specialty. I have worked with numerous professional dance and Broadway companies. I believe that patient education and improving body awareness are vital elements of treating my patients. I incorporate therapeutic exercise into my patients’ plans of care in order to help them manage their own pain, and I utilize manual therapy techniques in clinic, including trigger point dry needling. Outside of the clinic, I am the Coordinator of Alumni Engagement at the Duke Doctor of Physical Therapy Program, and the adviser for the Duke Pre-Physical Therapy Association. As a proud Duke alum, I enjoy advising and mentoring Duke students and graduates, as well as cheering on the Blue Devils.
