About Me
I am an OB-GYN generalist here at Duke. I see everyone from preteens all the way through the elderly population. Usually, when a patient comes in to see me they have an idea of what’s bothering them, so the first thing I do when I meet with a patient is to listen. My favorite thing about this field is receiving gratitude from patients when something has helped them, especially when it’s someone who’s had multiple treatments or seen different providers, and they finally get the feeling that they are going in the right direction. I value the fact that I don’t lose track of patients when I refer them to a specialist here at Duke, because I know the providers and can keep track of how the patient is doing within the network. I was born and raised in Chapel Hill, so I’m very comfortable with the culture here and love living in this area.
