My research focuses on improving the health and quality of life of children who undergo stem cell transplant, both during treatment and throughout survivorship. I study long-term effects of transplant, including chronic graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), cardiovascular health, and growth and development. I am also particularly interested in improving transplant care for infants and toddlers. My goal is to identify risks earlier and develop better ways to support children and families throughout and after transplant.

About Me
I am a pediatric hematologist/oncologist specializing in bone marrow transplant and cellular therapy. I care for children and young adults undergoing transplant and cellular therapy, as well as survivors navigating life after treatment. I know that transplant affects far more than a child’s underlying disease, and I strive to care for the whole patient while supporting families throughout the transplant journey.
I have a particular interest in long-term survivorship and helping patients stay healthy and thrive after transplant. I also have a special interest in infants and toddlers undergoing transplant and their unique needs during critical years of growth and development. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is developing long-term relationships with patients and families and watching children grow and thrive after transplant.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking with my family, going to the beach, and exploring new cities.
