About Me

I chose family medicine because it allows me to foster the patient-physician relationship by learning more about my patients with each visit. Everyone has different backgrounds, values, and goals, so the more I learn about my patients, the better we can work together to make the best decision for their health. Good communication and attention to detail are very important to me; I ask a lot of questions, and I want my patients to feel comfortable with me!

I practice preventive medicine. This means I spend time asking about overall health and wellness, catching up on what happened between visits, and ensuring patients are up-to-date on vaccines and cancer screenings. I like to see my patients for their annual physicals and make sure I'm aware of what's going on in their lives. These check-ups are vital, as they allow me the time to be thorough with your health record to make sure we aren't missing anything even if you're feeling well.

My goal as a doctor is to clear up any confusion surrounding my patients' health to make more space for the things they enjoy in life. The things I make space for in my life are family, church, travel, reading, needlepoint, and playing piano.
