About Me
I am a physical therapist at Duke who is certified in Maitland Manual Therapy. I treat back and spine patients in addition to general outpatient orthopaedic patients including total knee replacements, shoulder injuries, knee injuries, ankle injuries and general gait/balance patients. I have been at Duke for over 20 years and I am committed to my patients and their success. The clinic at Southpoint is an intimate setting with only three therapists and we focus on patient one-on-one attention. Since I've been a Duke a long time, I have great resources if the patient needs somebody other than me. My approach to therapy is very hands on with manual therapy training, and I incorporate home exercise and basic postural education. Outside of work, I am active with my family and fitness. My husband David and I have two teenage daughters, which keeps us busy and active.
