About Me
I am an occupational therapist and certified hand therapist that specializes in rehabilitation of the upper extremity. I have experience working with individuals of all ages. Some examples of diagnoses I work with are traumatic injuries that may require surgery including fractures and soft tissue injuries, as well as more chronic conditions such as osteoarthritis and tendonitis. I have spent my career working in various clinical settings, including hand therapy, outpatient, inpatient rehabilitation, and acute care. I completed a yearlong hand therapy fellowship through M Health Fairview and the University of Minnesota, through which I had the opportunity to receive mentorship, educate, and take part in research. I am passionate about the science and artistry of the hand therapy field. I am also a Thumb CMC Joint Health Program provider, which means I specialize in the conservative care of osteoarthritis of the thumb CMC joint.
