WHERE I PROVIDE CARE
Profile
ABOUT ME

I am a board-certified family nurse practitioner and doctor of nursing practice (DNP) who has practiced with Duke Endocrinology since 2008. I have experience with both inpatient and outpatient endocrinology management. I am also an assistant professor at the Duke University School of Nursing where I teach primary care courses. I decided to become a nurse practitioner after a trip to Uganda as a medical missionary. This trip inspired me to help people in a tangible way and led me toward the nursing profession. In the endocrinology clinic my specialties are diabetes (type 1 and type 2), thyroid disorders, obesity management and general endocrine.
