About Me

I am passionate about occupational therapy and the services we offer to patients to help them optimize their abilities to engage in activities that are important to them. If you are having trouble performing activities that are important to you, such as bathing, dressing, cooking, cleaning, driving or working, you should ask for an occupational therapy referral. I believe that it is important to build a solid occupational profile of my patients by obtaining a good understanding of where my patients were prior to their diagnoses or injuries, establish understanding of where they are when we evaluate and help them identify what's important to them. Once we establish a good occupational profile, we form a partnership where together we create a solid plan of care to help patients successfully reach their goals. I see a variety of conditions, but I specialize in treating neurology patients (stroke, TBI, Parkinson's, MS, etc.). I enjoy empowering patients to to be successful in daily life. I specialize in performing Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE), which are a longer more detailed evaluation that consists of a series of assessments to determine a patient's abilities for work or disability.
