About Me
I am a malignant hematologist and clinical researcher specializing in leukemia, with training in both pediatric and adult hematology. I have a particular interest in caring for adolescent and young adult (AYA) patients and serve as the medical director of Duke’s Blood Cancer Adolescent and Young Adult Support Service. My clinical practice focuses on caring for patients with hematologic malignancies, with an emphasis on acute leukemias, including acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) and acute myeloid leukemia (AML), as well as myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) and myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs), including chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), polycythemia vera (PV), essential thrombocythemia (ET) and myelofibrosis (MF). My goal is for every patient to receive the highest quality care while feeling supported throughout their cancer journey.
