About Me
I love being a physical therapist because it allows me to use creativity and problem-solving to maximize my patients' functional mobility. I appreciate getting to know my patients, as well as their interests, motivations, and concerns. This information, combined with my evaluation and assessment, helps me and my patients work together to create a plan of care. I am trained in cognitive behavioral informed therapy and apply the biopsychosocial model to my clinical practice. My clinical practice areas include: musculoskeletal pain (neck, back, shoulder, hip, knee, ankle and foot), prehabilitation, post-operative rehabilitation, the Joint Health Program (pain related to hip and knee osteoarthritis), the Spine Health Program (acute and chronic back pain), lifestyle management for weight loss, and aquatic therapy. In my free time, I love traveling and taking adventures with my partner, hiking, dancing, running obstacle course races, spending time with family, and relaxing at the beach.
