About Me
I received my physician assistant training at Duke University and have spent more than 20 years building my career in orthopedics, with broad experience treating fractures, sprains, joint pain and sports injuries. I also have more than 15 years of experience in orthopedic urgent care, evaluating and treating a wide range of injuries and conditions firsthand. That hands-on background helps me understand patients' concerns, know what to look for, identify the questions that matter and determine when a virtual visit is appropriate versus when in-person care is needed. Virtual visits allow me to bring the same level of focused, experienced care directly to you — no waiting room and no unnecessary emergency department visit. I can evaluate your orthopedic concern and provide a clear understanding of the next steps to help get you on the right path.

Ratings and Reviews
The ratings and reviews are based on patient responses to the overall clinician rating question from the survey. The question reads: “Using any number from 0 to 10, where 0 is the worst clinician possible and 10 is the best clinician possible, what number would you use to rate this clinician?” Responses are converted to a 5-point rating system and applied consistently to all clinicians. Learn more about our survey process. Patients who see some types of clinicians receive a different version of the patient satisfaction survey. Those results are not available on DukeHealth.org.
