About Me

I love treating patients seeking maxillofacial surgery and facial gender affirmation surgery. Facial feminization surgery and facial masculinization surgery are new and exciting areas for patient-specific 3D planning and execution of surgery. When appropriate, the combination of functional skeletal surgery, such as orthognathic surgery, can be incorporated into facial gender affirmation surgery to obtain the best results in both aesthetic and functional outcomes.

Clinical Focus and Research

My Research Interests

My primary research interest is at the cross-section of maxillofacial surgery and gender-affirmation surgery, analyzing craniofacial preoperative and postoperative measurements to improve planning and execution of facial gender affirmation surgery. I also have interests in the use of AI in aesthetic skeletal surgical planning, resident surgical education, and in the resident selection and matching process.
