Dustyn S. Walton, PT, DPT, LAT, ATC

Competing in rodeo throughout high school and college, I developed a passion for physical therapy at an early age. Recovering from numerous injuries, I worked extensively with physical therapists and knew right away that I had found the career I wanted to pursue. I completed my master's degree in athletic training and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Idaho State University and moved to North Carolina following graduation. I have experience working with patients across the lifespan and in various activities such as baseball, football, basketball, and many others. I had the opportunity to work as a student athletic trainer for two seasons with a minor league baseball team, which increased my interest in treating the upper extremity, including the shoulder, elbow, and wrist. I enjoy assisting others in achieving their performance goals, whether from non-surgical impairments or post-surgery. Outside of the clinic, I also spend time working as an athletic trainer at various events throughout the Triangle area. When I am not working, I enjoy golfing and spending time with my wife and our puppy.
