About Me
I am a medical oncologist specializing in genitourinary cancers, including prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancer. I primarily see patients at Duke Cancer Centers in Cary and Raleigh, where I focus on providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. Growing up in eastern North Carolina and having lived most of my adult life in the Triangle area, I am deeply connected to the North Carolina community. My approach centers on treating each patient with a focus on their needs and a positive outlook, emphasizing both effective treatment and maintaining a high quality of life. I prioritize having access to the most updated treatment options, enrolling patients in clinical trials, and ensuring they have a strong understanding of their diagnosis and management options. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and attending sporting events with my wife and our two little boys.

Ratings and Reviews
The ratings and reviews are based on patient responses to the overall provider rating question from the survey. The question reads: “Using any number from 0 to 10, where 0 is the worst provider possible and 10 is the best provider possible, what number would you use to rate this provider?” Responses are converted to a 5-point rating system and applied consistently to all providers. Learn more about our survey process. Patients who see some types of providers receive a different version of the patient satisfaction survey. Those results are not available on DukeHealth.org.

My research interest lies in leveraging Duke's extensive array of clinical trials for genitourinary cancers, such as prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancer. I am dedicated to offering patients access to cutting-edge treatments aimed at improving outcomes and quality of life. These trials provide opportunities for patients to pursue innovative therapies that may offer superior results compared to standard treatments.
