About Me
I'm a nurse practitioner in the breast program who sees patient’s with our surgical oncologists for new breast cancer consults and to help care for breast cancer patient’s during treatments and in survivorship. I see women for reasons such as an abnormal mammogram, a new breast lump, breast pain, nipple discharge and for preventative services. Most women are very anxious when they come in, so I try to make them feel at ease. I enjoy meeting new patients and finding out about their personal life because that rapport helps them feel confident about their care. At Duke we have all of the options available for them like specialized breast radiologists and the continuum of care for those who need to be seen in the cancer center. We’re very efficient and most patients can see a nurse practitioner within a day. Outside of work, I have a busy family life. I have three children so most spare time is spent on the soccer field, in the swimming pool and walking in our neighborhood.

Ratings and Reviews
The ratings and reviews are based on patient responses to the overall provider rating question from the survey. The question reads: “Using any number from 0 to 10, where 0 is the worst provider possible and 10 is the best provider possible, what number would you use to rate this provider?” Responses are converted to a 5-point rating system and applied consistently to all providers.
