About Me
I am a pulmonologist and critical care physician and a provider at Duke Health Center South Durham and the Duke Regional Hospital Intensive Care Unit. I also have a dual role as Medical Director for the Analytics Center of Excellence. In this position, I am working on initiatives to improve the applicability and effectiveness of analytics work upon its translation into the health care delivery environment. My research interests have revolved around the development and implementation of predictive analytics on improving clinical outcomes. In my spare time, I enjoy baking bread, gardening, and spending time with my wife and two children.

Ratings and Reviews
The ratings and reviews are based on patient responses to the overall provider rating question from the survey. The question reads: “Using any number from 0 to 10, where 0 is the worst provider possible and 10 is the best provider possible, what number would you use to rate this provider?” Responses are converted to a 5-point rating system and applied consistently to all providers. Learn more about our survey process. Patients who see some types of providers receive a different version of the patient satisfaction survey. Those results are not available on DukeHealth.org.
