About Me
I treat a wide variety of conditions throughout the body related to the muscles, bones, joints, tendons, ligaments, and cartilage. Combining my core training in family medicine with specialty training in musculoskeletal medicine, I am able to treat medical issues and orthopaedic injuries resulting from sports and exercise. I specialize in nonsurgical care, which offers conservative treatments to try to avoid surgery if possible. In my practice, I often use ultrasound to help show patients what is bothering them at the time of their visit. I also use ultrasound to guide injections to improve symptoms. I work with my patients toward a shared decision for treatment that aligns with their goals. Finally, I want to help my patients develop a lifestyle of wellness. Exercise is medicine, and injury prevention is the key to bodily longevity.

Ratings and Reviews
The ratings and reviews are based on patient responses to the overall provider rating question from the survey. The question reads: “Using any number from 0 to 10, where 0 is the worst provider possible and 10 is the best provider possible, what number would you use to rate this provider?” Responses are converted to a 5-point rating system and applied consistently to all providers. Learn more about our survey process. Patients who see some types of providers receive a different version of the patient satisfaction survey. Those results are not available on DukeHealth.org.
