We understand that a busy professional schedule can get in the way of your health. That’s why our team at Duke Executive Health makes it easy for you to get the comprehensive care you need -- all in one day. Our health assessment is a thorough preventive and diagnostic exam, which emphasizes healthy lifestyles, risk factor management, and changing personal behavior. You will leave with a schedule for periodic health maintenance, including exercise, nutrition, and stress management plans. Many of our patients return every year to work with our team on their health goals and to set new ones.

We Value Your Time -- and Your Health

A one-day visit to Duke Executive Health begins with an individualized, comprehensive health assessment. This may include bloodwork, imaging, performance tests, and more. You will also meet one-on-one with wellness experts. Your doctor will review your results and the team’s recommendations to develop an effective, realistic health plan that incorporates exercise, diet, and stress management into your busy life. Our program manager will ensure that your visit runs smoothly and that your needs -- such as meals and transportation -- are met.

A Team Approach to Your Health

A Group of Experts
At Duke Executive Health, you will meet with a team of experts including board-certified doctors, registered nurses, health psychologists and counselors, certified exercise physiologists, and registered dietitians. We have worked with executives from around the world and understand the lifestyle challenges and time restrictions you face. Our focus is on preventive care, with a goal of identifying or preventing health problems before they become serious.

Referrals to Specialists at Duke Health
If you need specialized health care, we can refer you for additional appointments with the appropriate medical professionals at Duke Health. These will be scheduled for a later date. Whether you suffer from knee pain or coronary artery disease or need help losing weight, these highly trained specialists can provide the care you need.

Working with Your Primary Care Doctor
Although we do not replace your primary care doctor, we share your health information with them so you can work together to manage your health throughout the year. Most people return annually to assess their progress and update their action plan to build on the achievements of the previous year.

Access from Anywhere with My Duke Health (previously Duke MyChart)
When you receive care through the Duke Executive Health Program, you have access to your electronic health record 24/7. My Duke Health houses your pre-visit medical history, visit summaries, and nutrition, stress, and fitness plans. This makes it easy to stay up to date on your health from anywhere and makes sharing this information with your primary care physician simple.
