Plan for Duke

Open Enrollment Runs November 1 - December 15, 2020

Your opportunity to review and update your health insurance for 2021 runs from November 1 – December 15, 2020. This year, Duke Health has expanded the number of insurance plans in which we participate to provide you with more choice.

New, Competitively Priced Plans Include Duke

Now, in addition to the existing plan option with Ambetter, you can choose one of these new plans, offered by Cigna and Bright Health. The new plans are competitively priced and include the Duke Health hospitals, clinics, and doctors you have come to know and trust. You can review the details of these plans on www.healthcare.gov.

There are plans on the exchange that do not include Duke. If you are participating in one now, we hope these new options offer you the chance to come back to your Duke doctor.

We’ve made it even easier for you to get top-quality care closer to your home. In the past year, Duke Health opened 17 clinics throughout the Triangle, and plans to open more in 2021. We encourage you to read online reviews, compare doctors, and learn more about our services at DukeHealth.org.

Please know we are committed to caring for you during COVID-19. We’re keeping everyone safe by screening all patients, visitors, and staff, requiring everyone to wear face masks, and enhancing our cleaning procedures. We also offer options for virtual visits when appropriate.

Medicare Open Enrollment

Open enrollment for Medicare runs from October 15 through December 7, 2020. Learn more about Medicare Advantage plans that have Duke Health doctors and locations in their networks.
