Clinical Focus and Research
MY RESEARCH INTERESTS

My clinical research focuses on use of regenerative treatments (mostly stem cells of various types) for treatment of a variety of heart conditions, including patients with advanced coronary artery disease, and patients with heart failure or who have had a heart attack. These therapies are typically for patients with significant symptoms from heart disease who are not candidates for other options, and offer them the opportunity to contribute to the development of treatments that we hope will help future patients as well as possibly benefit from these experiment treatments themselves. I have led the development of a variety of stem cells for treatment of heart disease.
