About Me
I am a urologist specializing in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of kidney stones (nephrolithiasis) and benign prostatic enlargement (BPH), among other conditions. I use minimally invasive surgical techniques, including surgical lasers and advanced endoscopy, to perform surgery, often without the need for incisions. I am trained to perform a wide range of BPH-related procedures, including HoLEP, TURP, and MIST procedures, as well as complex ureteroscopy, PCNL, and mini-PCNL for stone disease. I became a urologist because urologic problems are often deeply personal and have a significant impact on a person's quality of life. I enjoy listening to my patients, helping them understand their condition, and developing evidence-based treatment plans aligned with their goals and beliefs. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, running, and keeping up with current events.

My research interests focus on how we can improve cost-effective care delivery and equitable access to care as they pertain to urologic conditions, as well as how best to train/educate future physicians both in medical school and surgical residencies.
