About Me

I worked in nursing homes and hospitals in Colorado for about four years as a nursing assistant before deciding to pursue a physician assistant degree. I went into medicine because if someone around me was in pain, I wanted to be able to know how to help make them feel better. I am drawn to breast oncology because it is a setting where I have the opportunity to establish relationships with my patients. If a patient is doing better, I want to know so we can celebrate and continue down that path. If a patient is not doing well, I want them to have a familiar face to turn to, ask questions, explain what is going on in a way that makes sense to them, and offer a source of support. When I am not working, I enjoy pursuing my long-time passion for rock climbing.

Ratings and Reviews

The Patient Rating score is an average of all responses to care provider related questions on our nationally-recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Learn more about our survey process. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score. Patients who see some types of providers receive a different version of the patient satisfaction survey. Those results are not available on DukeHealth.org.
