About Me
After graduation from Physical Therapy School from UNC Chapel Hill, I worked full time in several private outpatient orthopedic clinics. I love orthopedics, but as we added children to our family, I moved over to Duke Cardiopulmonary Rehab to be closer to home and have a adjust to a schedule that would allow me to share my time between two loves: physical therapy and my family! I now work primarily with patients with pulmonary disease, including those who are pre- and post-lung transplant, and I am continually amazed by the transformations I see in our patients as they work towards and reach their goals. I'm especially thankful for the chance to be a part of the radical transformation that a lung transplant can bring to a patient's life. It never gets old! When I'm not at work, I enjoy chasing my 3 little ones around Durham, running, weightlifting, and baking!
