About Me

I am a medical oncologist who specializes in the care of patients with breast cancer. I chose this field because it allows me to guide, support, and comfort my patients through some of the most meaningful and challenging moments of their lives - from the uncertainty of a new cancer diagnosis to the excitement of a remission to the complexity of end-of-life decisions. I am originally from North Carolina, and after completing my medical training at Johns Hopkins, I am honored to return home to serve my community as a breast medical oncologist. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking with my rescue dog, and reading/writing creative nonfiction.
