About Me
I am a nurse practitioner with a strong passion for holistic care. I provide care to patients with digestive conditions. My particular areas of interest are irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel diseases, including ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. Through personal experiences, I learned very early in life about the value and privilege of being involved in someone’s care. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I personally suffered from gastrointestinal (GI) problems and also worked for several years as a registered nurse treating patients after upper endoscopy and/or colonoscopy. During that time frame, I was able to listen, learn, and understand the impact the GI system can have on a patient's overall health and quality of life. I specialized in gastroenterology to help my patients find answers to their symptoms. It brings me joy to create long-term, trustworthy relationships with my patients in a welcoming and nonjudgmental environment and provide knowledge and resources they might need to make an informed decision about their health. When I am not seeing patients, I enjoy exercising, watching movies, and spending time with my family.
