Katie Stone, DPT

I am an outpatient orthopaedic physical therapist located on the Duke Raleigh Hospital campus. Currently, I treat conditions of the shoulder, hip, and knee with a strong interest in post-operative rehabilitation. I have also worked extensively in the inpatient setting, so I have a special appreciation of the post-surgical patient experience, from the day of surgery through the hospital stay, to outpatient rehab, and full return to activity. Surgery and rehab can be stressful, so I enjoy being able to put people at ease and helping them navigate through the process to ultimately achieve their goals. Another fulfilling part of this job is treating patients who thought they would require surgery and working with them to improve their strength and mobility to avoid surgical intervention.
