About Me

As a board-certified family nurse practitioner, I have over a decade of experience in primary care, urgent care, and mental health. I combine conventional and functional medicine in hopes of getting to the root cause, and along the way work on understanding the whole person. I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse communities, and I’m deeply committed to helping people feel seen, heard, and supported on their path to better health. I believe in working in true partnership with my patients—health is a team effort, and I’m here to guide, support, and collaborate every step of the way. Originally from Chicago, I carry a deep sense of pride in my roots—my city shaped my grit, work ethic, and commitment to community. I also make it a priority to live the healthy lifestyle I encourage in others—I enjoy being outdoors, staying active, and fully believe that most things in life are made better with a good cup of coffee.

Ratings and Reviews

The ratings and reviews are based on patient responses to the overall provider rating question from the survey. The question reads: “Using any number from 0 to 10, where 0 is the worst provider possible and 10 is the best provider possible, what number would you use to rate this provider?” Responses are converted to a 5-point rating system and applied consistently to all providers. Learn more about our survey process. Patients who see some types of providers receive a different version of the patient satisfaction survey. Those results are not available on DukeHealth.org.
