Bridget Lane Archambault, MSN, CPNP

I always wanted to care for children, but it wasn't until my first job as a nurse that I realized that caring for children with cancer was my passion. That passion led me back to my hometown of Durham in 1995 and to a nursing job at Duke. I earned my master's in 1997 and worked as a PNP in a few different pediatric areas before landing in pediatric neuro-oncology as the sole nurse practitioner. Working with patients, their families and our wonderful team is a true honor and taking part in cutting-edge clinical trials is a privilege. While I have experience with a variety of brain and spinal cord tumors, I have found a specific interest in targeted-therapy and have played a significant role in obtaining some of the newer medications like Trametinib, Dabrafenib, Tovorafenib and Vorasidenib through expanded access. I am very knowledgeable regarding the side effects of these medications and was honored to present some of this information at the Society of Neuro-Oncology Conference in 2019. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our adult children and our "quadruplet" grandchildren. I attend a local church and feel that my faith is at the center of who I am.
