About Me
I am a neurosurgeon that specializes in surgery on the peripheral nerves. I was drawn to this field when I saw how dramatically a person's life could be altered when their nerves weren't functioning normally. The main tasks of a nerve are to transmit the signals that help us to move and feel. Losing these abilities can be life altering and sometimes damage to the nerves, resulting in severe pain. In some cases, surgery can be utilized to improve or regain function or to reduce pain. I will work with you and your care team to help decide whether surgery can help and if it's right for you. Some of the conditions I care for include nerve entrapment, nerve pain, nerve tumors, ganglion cysts, nerve trauma, brachial plexus injury, limb weakness, and cervical dystonia among others. When I'm not caring for patients, I enjoy spending time with my wife and children outdoors or in the kitchen while we like to cook together.
