Duke Health Provider What's this?
Insurance

Duke Health contracts with most major health insurance carriers and transplant networks, including the ones listed below. Before scheduling your appointment, we strongly recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the Duke Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any co-payments, co–insurances, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with Duke, your out of pocket liability may be higher. We will contact you regarding your coverage and patient liability. If you are uninsured, learn more about our financial assistance policy

WHERE I PROVIDE CARE
Profile
ABOUT ME

I specialize in gastroenterology, specifically adult inflammatory bowel diseases like Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. I also see patients with a variety of digestive issues including fecal transplant for C.diff colitis. I became a physician because I truly enjoy interacting with people and helping them feel better in whatever way I can. I like to emphasize good communication between providers and patients. It is important to work together with each patient to provide education and a personalized treatment plan that we both agree upon. Listening and understanding what each patient needs is vital to our success. Before working at Duke Health, I practiced in the greater Boston area for 10 years. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, reading fiction novels, and practicing yoga.
