CoMPAS (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) - Clinical Trial
What is the Purpose of this Study?
We are doing this study to identify new signs and symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in children and young adults. We want to improve at predicting the future course of IBD so that we can treat it better and faster. We also hope this study will help us learn how IBD develops so that we can make new treatments for IBD.
Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), including Crohn's Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, and Unspecified IBD
Who Can Participate in the Study?
Children and adults ages 2-21 who:
- Are referred by their doctor to have a colonoscopy and biopsy
- Are suspected to have IBD or have been diagnosed with IBD in the past 2 years
- Were not using any medications or supplements for IBD prior to diagnosis
