About Me
Overview
I am a Medical Family Therapist with the Duke Cancer Patient Support Program and have been at Duke for over 22 years. I love working with patients and their family members focusing on and addressing the emotional and relational difficulties that often accompany the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Cancer changes people, which can have an impact on an individual's relationships. Assisting patients and families with changing their relationships for the better is the most satisfying part of my role. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family and my pets, read, do yoga, hike, and travel.
