About Me
I treat all types of orthopedic conditions, and I especially enjoy helping active individuals return to sports or other physical activities. My desire to work in physical therapy and sports started with a passion for learning how the body works, and I’ve never stopped pursuing that passion. I will take the time to get to know you and what your goals are. I embrace a team approach to care and enjoy teaching and discussing why we will do what we do. I believe educated patients will be more engaged in their care and are more likely to achieve their goals. I enjoy treating ankle, knee, hip, elbow, and shoulder impairments. In my free time, l compete in Masters Track and Field and have won 2 National Championships and earned multiple #1 world rankings.

Clinical Focus and Research
Despite our best efforts as health care providers, the number of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries continues to increase every year. It is a devastating injury and can take as much as a year or longer to fully recover. I have written and presented original research on the mechanism of injury for the ACL. I believe that if we can better understand the mechanism of injury, we can reduce the number of athletes injured every year as well as more effectively rehabilitate those athletes who have injured their ACL. I am currently researching return-to-sport testing criteria so that we can reduce reinjury rates for those who return to competitive sports.
