About Me

I am a dentist with over 10 years of clinical experience. I have training in orofacial pain, a specialty in dentistry that includes the diagnosis, management, and treatment of pain disorders in the jaw, mouth, face, head, and neck. The desire to help patients with pain in their teeth, jaw, or face, despite having perfect oral health and no dental problems, is what led me to orofacial pain. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing my patients smile, listening to their achievements, and doing things they have not done in a long time because of pain. I was born and raised in Brazil, but North Carolina is now my home. In my free time, I love sharing a great meal with family and friends.

Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score. Patients who see some types of providers receive a different version of the patient satisfaction survey. Those results are not available on DukeHealth.org.
