Duke Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation offers several programs to help you regain your health and well-being, including:
Cobb HEARTS program
A medically supervised exercise and lifestyle management program for those with known heart disease or those at increased risk due to factors like diabetes, high cholesterol or obesity.
Cardiac rehabilitation program
A medical supervised exercise and lifestyle management program for those who have recently suffered from a cardiac event, such as a heart attack, or are recovering from heart surgery.
Heart failure rehabilitation program
An eight- to ten-week program for those diagnosed with congestive heart failure. Our program includes endurance, strength and flexibility training; educational sessions on nutrition, medication and stress management; and an individualized home care program.
Pulmonary rehabilitation program
An intensive, four-and-a-half week program for those with debilitating lung disease. Our program includes general strength training, respiratory muscle conditioning, specialized counseling and an individualized home care program.
