Duke Raleigh Hospital offers a Pre-Operative Orthopaedic Surgery Class for all patients and family members. The class covers what you can expect before, during and after joint and spine surgery.
• We will provide you with helpful information, useful tips and answer any and all of your questions.
• You will meet your nurse, case manager, physical therapist and the occupational therapist that will be working with you.
This class occurs every Thursday.

Taking Control of Your Diabetes is a national conference that empowers people with diabetes to learn how to live well with this disease.

Highlights of the event include:

Health fair
Motivational speeches and demonstrations
Sit-down banquet luncheon with live entertainment
Hands-on sessions that include walking, connecting with social media, zumba, belly dancing, cooking demonstrations, and more
One-on-one time to talk with diabetic experts including pharmacists, dietitians, dentists, ophthalmologists, educators, and other specialists
