Why a program just for women? Women need strength training for different reasons than men. Due to various stereotypes and weight room culture, most women do not partake in a regular strength training programs. Regular strength training can help make everyday activities easier. Studies show that strength training helps reduce bone loss, prevent osteoporosis, and decrease sarcopenia, which can make aging healthier and more enjoyable. In addition, regular strength training at or above professional recommendations can help with weight and fat loss. Educational handouts included.
