CPR and Choking Rescue

The CPR and Choking Rescue classes class are led by Newborn nurses and Childbirth Educators at Duke University and Duke Regional Hospitals.  Session registration covers you + one guest.

Please note: infant-only choking rescue and CPR is covered during the Newborn Care & Safety, Pt 2 session.

Infant-only mini-session ($25, offered in-person only):  Caregivers of infants will learn how and when to provide choking rescue and CPR for infants.  This session includes hands-on practice with manikins.  Content is infant-specific.  (Certification not offered.)

This would be a good session for second-time parents, grandparents, or other caregivers who aren't participating in the full Newborn Care & Safety class.

Infant, Child, and Adult session ($25, offered in-person or virtual):  In this class, you'll learn how and when to provide choking rescue and CPR for infants, children, and adults.  This session includes hands-on practice with child and adult manikins.   (Certification not offered.)

This would be a good session for those wanting to expand their CPR knowledge to include the whole family.
