Cardio Drumming is a low-impact workout that people of all ages and fitness levels can do. It’s a fun, fast-paced workout that incorporates drumming and cardio to the rhythm of music. Cardio drumming increases heart rate, improves rhythm, strengthens the upper body, and improves motor skills and hand-eye coordination all while burning calories. You don't need to be a drummer and even more amazingly, you don't even need drums! We will use stability balls and drumsticks.
Classes and programs are open to both Duke Health and Fitness Center members and non-members. Members and non-members must register through the online portal, mobile app (Apple App Store, Google Play Store), or by calling prior to the class.
