Orthopaedics Second Opinion Video Visit

Duke Orthopaedics is now offering Second Opinion Video Visit services to connect patients throughout North Carolina with our foot and ankle specialists -- with no need for travel. It’s easy to get started.

  1. Complete this secure form.
  2. Within two business days, you will be contacted by a Second Opinion team member. They will assist with the next steps, including sharing your medical records.
  3. Once we receive your records, we will schedule your video appointment and give you instructions for accessing the Second Opinion Video Visit service.

Before your appointment, your orthopaedic doctor will review your medical records. Appointments are dedicated to discussing your diagnosis, answering your questions, and recommending treatment options. Appointment lengths range from 15 minutes to one hour. 

The cost of a video visit begins at $250; a Second Opinion team member will discuss final pricing before your appointment. Second opinion video visits are not covered by insurance, including Medicare or Medicaid.
