Our inpatient care facility provides 24-hour skilled nursing care in a comfortable setting to people who cannot manage their symptoms and/or cannot control their pain at home.
Our team of caregivers includes nurses, social workers, chaplains, nursing assistants, volunteers, and counselors. We address patients’ physical, emotional and spiritual needs including:
- Pain control and management of symptoms such as nausea, seizures, respiratory distress, and complicated wounds
- Psychosocial and clinical interventions to help address emotional and spiritual crises
- Transitional care education for new surroundings after hospital discharge
Family and friends can feel comfort knowing your loved one is being well cared for around-the-clock, seven days a week.

The Hock Family Pavilion building was given to Duke Hospice by Gary Hock and Jim Hock, both local philanthropists.
